Minyak Patut RM1.60 - Pakar

KUALA LUMPUR - Kerajaan wajar menurunkan harga petrol kepada RM1.60 seliter memandangkan harga pasaran minyak mentah dunia merudum sehingga ke paras AS$60 (RM210) setong.

Pengerusi Pusat Pengajian Ekonomi, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Prof. Dr. Nor Ghani Md. Nor berkata, harga itu berdasarkan perbandingan ketika harga petrol dijual RM1.92 seliter dalam keadaan harga pasaran dunia sekitar AS$70 setong.

Bagaimanapun katanya, harga minyak dunia dijangka berlegar sekitar paras AS$90 setong beberapa bulan akan datang ekoran Pertubuhan Negara Pengeluar Minyak (OPEC) mengurangkan pengeluaran.

"Saya jangkakan harga minyak boleh diturunkan di bawah RM2 iaitu antara RM1.60 hingga RM2 dengan melihat keadaan ekonomi negara ketika ini.

"Jika harga minyak turun, pengguna akan berbelanja lebih, tetapi harga barangan mungkin tak turun sebab pesaing kurang.

"Contohnya pembekal makanan ayam hanya ada beberapa sahaja di negara ini," katanya ketika dihubungi semalam.

Beliau berkata demikian ketika diminta mengulas tentang trend penurunan harga minyak dunia ketika ini yang merudum dan dikatakan akan mencecah sehingga ke paras AS$60 setong.

Ketua Eksekutif Gabungan Persatuan Pengguna-Pengguna Malaysia (FOMCA), Mohd. Yusof Abdul Rahman pula berkata, harga petrol boleh diturunkan kepada RM2.15 seliter tetapi tidak di bawah RM2.

Ini kerana katanya, walaupun harga minyak dunia mengalami penurunan sehingga paras AS$60 setong, ia juga akan memberi impak kepada pendapatan negara.

RHEOLOGY OF UNMODIFIED AND MODIFIED BINDER DUE TO AGING

Abstract: Rheology of bitumen is a constituent considered in bitumen physical properties to assess the deformation and flow of bitumen. Deformation and flow of the bitumen in hot mix asphalt (HMA) is important to determine the performance of HMA pavement. HMA pavement that deformed and flow too much may be susceptible to rutting and bleeding, while those that are too stiff may be susceptible to fatigue or thermal cracking. All this problem may happens during the service life of bitumen. The purpose of this research is to find the difference of reology that occur to bitumen in three main conditions which are fresh, after short term aging and after long term aging. This research involved two main laboratories experiment that are Rolling Thin Film Oven Test (RTFO) and Pressure Aging Vessel (PAV) besides three others tests, the Penetration Test, Softening Point Test and Viscosity Test. Four types of bitumen grade, 80/100, 60/70, PG76 and PG82 are compared. The result indicates that there is some changes in the rheological properties due to short and long term aging. Thus, the aging phases may affect the performance of HMA pavement.
